Robo-Signer NTC Has Its Roots in Scientology

According to the St. Petersburg Times, Florida-based National Title Clearing, Inc., which drew nationwide attention after it came to light in 2008 that the company’s employees were signing thousands of documents as Vice Presidents of various financial institutions, drew its foundations from the principles of Scientology.

Those principles equate growth with survival and put an emphasis on production above all, advising managers that “there is no substitute, in an executive, for the ability to get the crew to produce.”

NTC’s managers definitely managed to inspire productivity–the company’s Pinellas County campus is said to image up to 500,000 mortgage documents a day, and at least one of those “Vice Presidents” has admitted to spending no more than a few seconds on each document she signed and rarely having read any of them.
