Robert Dale Bernard

From his obituary:
ROBERT DALE BERNARD passed away peacefully on July 15, 2015, following a short bout with cancer.  Bob was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on January 29, 1958. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, and his son, Chris.

Bob obtained both a masters of business administration and a law degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  Following a career in information systems and regulatory compliance, he moved to Amelia Island in 2008.  He worked as a solo practitioner from 2010 to 2012, and then as a partner in the firm of Davis, Martin & Bernard, and later Davis, Broussard, Martin, Bernard & Steger.  Bob served his community as a member of the board of directors of the Council on Aging of Nassau County, and he served his profession as president of the Nassau County Bar Association and treasurer of the Robert M. Foster American Inn of Court.

Bob will be remembered as a wonderful husband and father, a brilliant attorney, and a kind and gentle soul.

Bob attended Boot Camp in January, 2010 and was a well liked and respected member of the Boot Camp Army. Our condolences to Bob’s family. He will be missed.
