We’re very excited to announce that our inaugural Chapter 11 for Individuals Boot Camp will take place the first weekend in October, just outside Chicago. For the first time, bankruptcy attorneys can learn everything they need to know about representing individual debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, straight from the lawyers who literally wrote the book: Dan Press and Brett Weiss.
During this intensive three-day event, Dan and Brett will walk through every aspect of an individual Chapter 11 case, beginning with an overview and comparison of Chapter 11 to Chapter 13. They’ll talk you through the initial intake process, red flags and pitfalls, fee setting and collecting retainers, and then progress through the case all the way to confirmation and post-confirmation issues.
The third day will take the form of a workshop, and you’ll draft documents and address common Chapter 11 issues with Dan and Brett in a small group setting. By Monday morning, you’ll be armed with all of the information and documents you need to handle an individual Chapter 11 case, even if this is your first exposure.
You’ll also receive an autographed copy of Dan and Brett’s book, Chapter 11 for Individuals: A Collier Monograph, and three months of support through the instructors’ private and confidential listserve and document repository.
Attendance is limited to 15, so don’t delay! If you’re interested in expanding your practice to include lucrative individual Chapter 11 cases, learn more about the Individual Chapter 11 Boot Camp or register now for the October 4-7 Boot Camp in Itasca, Illinois.
